Embracing Hope, Empowering Change

October 18, 2025

Unite for a World in Need of Love.

Together, we gather once more—hearts open, hands joined—to send waves of love across the world. In this shared moment, we ignite hope, inspire kindness, and nurture positive change for the well-being of all humanity. By lifting our collective consciousness, we become a powerful light for our planet. Let us pause together, breathing as one, and let our hearts beat in harmony—One People, One World.

Float Lanterns Create Hope

Create Hope

Step into the luminous magic of the World Peace Ceremony and Sedona Lantern Festival—a heart-centered evening of beauty, connection, and renewal. As the lanterns drift across the Healing Lake, they carry our prayers, wishes, and dreams into the night sky, reflecting the sacred energy of love and unity.

During this special evening, you’ll be invited to:

  • Float your own lantern, each carrying a personal prayer or wish for yourself, your loved ones, or the world.
  • Be enchanted by live music and cultural performances—feel the heartbeat of the drums, the gentle harmony of harp and guitar, and the grace of traditional Korean expressive dance.
  • Soak in the unique spiritual energy of Sedona Mago’s sacred grounds.

For those wishing to linger in this peaceful glow, you may extend your experience by staying the night. Awaken to a serene sunrise meditation, leaving with your spirit renewed and your heart lightened.

Floating Lanterns

The Ancient Korean Tradition of Floating Lanterns

Floating lanterns, or “tteunbul,” have been a cherished part of Korean tradition since the Goryeo Dynasty. Once illuminated during Buddhist festivals to honor ancestors and pray for peace and prosperity, these lanterns embody wisdom, light, hope, and unity.

In Korean culture, each lantern is a prayer in motion—carrying wishes, releasing burdens, and welcoming new beginnings. The ritual connects us to nature, to our ancestors, and to the boundless universe.

At Sedona Mago, we honor this ancient tradition, offering a space for healing, mindfulness, and connection. Here, the floating lantern ceremony becomes a collective act of love—an invitation to release, renew, and dream together beneath the stars.
